I have two play 5 set up in stereo. Vertical orientation. They sound great but sometimes I want to drop the volume without opening the app and they just don’t respond.

Thanks Jeff and John. The speaker button controls were toggled to off in the room settings. I swear I didn’t do it myself can’t see it being a default setting though. I have been adjusting the room settings a fair bit as I change input sources etc. So maybe I accidentally hit it. Thanks again

Hi Toppave,

Thanks for reaching out. Generally, when you set up the PLAY:5 in a vertical position, the touch controls will still work, though you'll have to move your hand vertically instead of horizontally. Here's a quick guide.

If that's not working, please send in a diagnostic report and reply with the confirmation number. I'll take a look and try to see what's going on.

Unless of course you have speaker touch controls disabled in the room settings.
