Hi @k1ckdapro,
If you’re still on the same network that your Sonos system is on and connected to Wi-Fi, you should still be able to see the battery levels in the app. Are you in this configuration but still unable to see your battery levels?
Because of the way our speakers work over Bluetooth, you won't see the charging or battery status in the native operating system of the controller (your iPhone/iPad) like you would for wireless earbuds for example. If you’re not on Wi-Fi then you’ll need to use Sonos Voice Control and ask either "What's the battery level?” or "How much battery is left on yRoam name]?"
I hope this information helps.
@Jamie A
So if you have the voice assistant disabled or have a SL version there is no way to find out the battery level?
I actually wouldn’t care that much if the lights indicated when it was charging and when it is full. At least then I could plug it in and know when it was 100%.
A note about it not showing in the OS like other speakers/ headsets - I am sure you have your reasons but this in itself is confusing to the user, I looked about for a while before giving up.
For a company who want their products to just work, and mostly they do, this does seem like an over sight and not understanding user needs.
