I’ve noticed that when my Sonos Roam is connected via Bluetooth on iOS/iPadOS, the Sonos app doesn’t display any battery information. It works fine when connected over Wi-Fi, and I can see the battery percentage there, but nothing shows up in the app when using Bluetooth.

Is this a known issue, or is there something I need to configure differently? Has anyone else experienced this on iOS or iPadOS? Any tips or workarounds would be great!

Hi @k1ckdapro

If you’re still on the same network that your Sonos system is on and connected to Wi-Fi, you should still be able to see the battery levels in the app. Are you in this configuration but still unable to see your battery levels?

Because of the way our speakers work over Bluetooth, you won't see the charging or battery status in the native operating system of the controller (your iPhone/iPad) like you would for wireless earbuds for example. If you’re not on Wi-Fi then you’ll need to use Sonos Voice Control and ask either "What's the battery level?” or "How much battery is left on yRoam name]?"

I hope this information helps.
