MLB.com Audio Streaming Support

Please!

This is the biggest pain point for me right now. I've spent a thousand dollars on various Sonos components, and I'm stuck listening to MLB.com through my little Jawbone Jambox. Simply because someone thought it was clever to cut a deal with clueless Sirius XM.

I simply cannot agree more with this. Maybe sonos (or somebody else) could just build a simple app for your computer/tablet/phone/whatever that grabs the audio from the MLB stream and makes it available to Sonos, that doesn't seem hard. I mean really, who sits in front of their computer to listen to the radio broadcast? For Cubs games, I bought an am radio, leave it on WGN Radio, and its always the line in on a ZP. But, its the AM radio lousy quality and I can't listed to other teams I follow... so now I also have a small laptop that I fire up, launch mlb audio, unplug the headphone jack from the AM radio, plug into laptop.... stupid.

Agreed. I presently use Airplay to stream MLB iOS app to Sonos, which is fine. But, an integrated solution would be nice.

This is fantastic news! I have been in the beta for a number of weeks, but I don't see how I can get to MLB. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

Hi there, I checked and made sure you're on the beta. MLB.com Gameday Audio should show up under More Music > Sonos Labs.

Check under More Music > Sonos Labs from one of your Controllers. You're on the beta so you should see MLB there.

I get the BETA logo when I start up the controller, but on the labs page all I see is rara.com, Spotify Beta, and The Hype Machine. Same is true for PC controller, iPhone, and iPad.

Got it! I'm quite excited for games to start tonight.

I just purchsed the mlb gameday thing, signed up for beta, the link is on my sonos but when I click on it it says unable to browse music.  What gives???  i am currently listening to the reds game on my A.M. radio so why doesn't it show up on sonos

And then it disappeared. First day of spring games, just dropped the $20.00 for the audio streams, and now it's gone from Sonos! Its not in More Music, and its not in the Labs. Where did it go?

Chris, this seems to be an error (MLB is still in beta status).  We're looking into it now and I'll let you know as soon as it's restored.  

I'm experiencing the same problem, as MLB GameDay seems to have disappeared from available services. Thanks for looking into this!

MLB.com is now back in Sonos Labs following what we're calling pre-season jitters.  You'll find it under Music > More Music > Sonos Labs.  As a reminder, MLB is currently in beta status on Sonos so if you encounter any issues or want to share feedback directly with the developers, please email beta@sonos.com.

Thank you for getting this back up as soon as you could.  I agree with Jim lets move it from beta to permanent!  Do yourself a favor and listen to a reds game on wlw with hall of famer Marty Brennaman!
