can you can use a Sonos Era 100 Pro on Wi-Fi and use PoE (Power over Ethernet) only to power it, by using a PoE injector, which provides power but not data?

There aren’t many ‘pro’ users in this forum to answer your question, I fear. I would call Sonos Support directly to discuss it .

I’m going to go with yes. The Era 100 pro does not have a mains power cable, so it must be powered via POE.  It does come with WiFi.  I don’t know why it would be equipped with WiFi if you had to get power from POE and that POE had to come with data.

 

But I would talk to Sonos support to confirm anyway.
