I have updated the Sonos app on Android which was mandatory and it looks like the EQ is now missing. How can I change the bass and treble settings or can I not do this? Thanks.
Try force closing and reopening the app to see if that restores the EQ.
Thanks...tried that and no change to app. I could be wrong but sure it had EQ before app update.
At the moment it seems to be Settings/roomname and scroll down to EQ. Not sure why it seems to have disappeared from the now-playing room homepage.Â
Â
Sonos moderators: is this the only way to access it? There used to be an icon to tap and open up the eq settings. Can we have that back, please?Â
Updating is not mandatory as long as you don't update part of the Sonos system. Turn off automatic updates in your App Store and in the Sonos Controller and you can stay on an older version. Once you update part of the system it will insist on the rest being done to get back full control.
If the force-close above doesn't work run the update check in the App to make sure all the pieces are in sync.
Next step would be to power down all Sonos, reboot router and controller then power the Sonos back up

You may have to force close and reopen the app several times until the EQ shows again.

Are you definitely looking in the right place? (Settings -  Room], then scroll down to the Sound heading where you should find EQ.)

Isn’t that what I already posted,

It would appear so…!
Here’s a screenshot of the app at the Sound section...only gives height adjustment.

Â
If you still don’t have the EQ settings, completely remove the app from your device and download again from the App Store.

When you go to ‘Settings - General Settings - About Your System’, what are the first five numbers under App Info - Build?
And, on the same screen, what about the Beam version and build?

All up to date then, as you suggested they are…
I’d follow the advice of

Can you scroll down to access more settings options?Â

Why does it matter what other settings are available when the missing EQ is the one the OP is looking for?

Because I think the EQ settings are further down the page, necessitating the scroll down, and hence my question to the OP.Â
EQ appears in Sound section which is covered by OP’s screenshot.
The Mod who marked the Best Answer in this thread didn’t understand the issue either.

Did you ever resolve? I don't have eq either after updatingÂ
