I have a Sonos One in my kitchen area that will start a timer if I say “Hey, Siri, set a timer for 10 (or whatever) minutes.” Occasionally, I’ll ask Siri a different question and the One will reply that it doesn’t understand the question or that it can’t do that.
I’ve occasionally tried this with the two other Sonos One speakers I have, and they didn’t respond (to be fair, the kitchen One doesn’t always), so maybe my kitchen One is an outlier.
Everything is up to date, fwiw, and this has been going on for quite awhile—I’m just getting around to wondering aloud what’s happening. I’ve taken to practically whispering to my watch or iphone but I’m wondering if anyone else has run across this issue?
