Hi @Johnmack, welcome back to the Sonos Community!
I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues playing radio via voice commands. Is it just Australian radio stations that wont play for you or does this message show for all radio stations (or do all voice commands fail?) Also, what service are you using to play radio on Sonos?
Specifying the service at the end of the command can help, so try “Alexa, play ‘station’ on ‘music service’”, or the same with Sonos Voice Control (SVC) to see if that helps. It’s also worth checking on Sonos.com that your region is set correctly, as there are geo-restrictions on some radio stations and your Sonos system has the same region as what is listed on your profile. Try the following if this doesn’t help:
For SVC: We have a support article for requests not working which I would recommend following. From the article, please note that ‘While Sonos Voice Control is available worldwide, some requests made in regions outside of the US and France may not work as expected.’
For Alexa: I would suggest checking the Alexa app to make sure your radio music service is linked. If it is, temporarily remove the Sonos skill from the Alexa app and re-add it to reauthorize the connection between Sonos and Alexa. Our article for Alexa commands not working on Sonos has the steps on how to do so.
If the above doesn’t resolve the issue for you, then it would be worth reaching out to our support team for further troubleshooting, as they have the necessary tools available to assist you in resolving this.
I hope this helps!
