Since Tidal in itself is supported I would love to see Voice Control integration as well.
I found it somewhat confusing saying everywhere that Tidal is supported but the Voice control is not.

Totally agree with you on this. It is a bit misleading when platforms say Tidal is supported, but then you find out it doesn’t work with Sonos Voice Control. For users who rely on hands-free commands, that's a major feature gap.
Adding full Tidal integration to Sonos Voice Control would really round out the experience especially for audiophiles who care about streaming quality and already prefer Tidal for that reason.
It’s the kind of update that deserves to be in the Finest news section when it finally drops. Until then, I hope the devs are listening this is the kind of quality-of-life upgrade that really makes a difference.

I switched to Tidal for its high quality lossless streams and was greatly rewarded in the sound coming through my Sonos 100s and 300. Now I’d like to initiate a Tidal session by voice. So frustrating to hear it’s not available yet. C’mon, Sonos, make your very good system great!

En verdad es considero personalmente que publicitar el servicio diciendo que TIDAL es uno de los servicios más compatibles con SONOS, y luego advertir tardíamente -cuando uno adquirió los productos- que esto no es así, es muy decepcionainte. Sin ánimo de ofender o violar las normas de la comunidad, pienso que esto es publidiad engañosa y por ende una vulneración de nuestros derechos como consumidores.
Creo que SONOS debería darnos una respuesta preciosa acerca de la implementación del servicio de Voice Control mediante el cual muchos fuimos inducidos a adquirir los productos (excelentes, por cierto) de la marca. SONOS es una marca demasiado importante y prestigiosa (la mejor en el rubro, para mí) como para deslucirse con este tipo de cosas que no hacen más que decepcionar a sus consumidores.

Voice control is essential in a family context, where half the household doesn't have a device, and the sound system doesn't have physical controls.
In Sonos' defence I think this is partly due to factors on TIDAL's side ... TIDAL also isn't available as a music service for Google Home, or Amazon Alexa (outside of USA). But Sonos should 100% be cooperating on it.
TIDAL is on a bit of a recruitment drive atm, and is attractive to audiophiles, and those with more of a choice and privacy bent ... A lot of overlap with the Sonos market imho.
I second this. My family has relied on Spotify and Alexa for years now and I’m sick of supporting companies I don’t actually like. We’ve made the switch to Sonos and Qobuz (now Deezer for voice control) but tbh it’s harder than I thought it would be because it turns out Spotify and Alexa actually work better. Sonos, you are leaving market share on the table until you catch up on features. I’m sure it’s not easy but how big is your development team? Integrate services, improve voice control, make your environment an obvious switch from Alexa. I actually had to do some searching to discover you could set timers with Sonos voice control which is honestly a dealbreaker in our household with toddlers. You should be advertising that. /rant
