Sonos Ray optical not working with new app

I sadly recently got auto updated to the new app, my Sonos ray is now no longer finding my optical output. Ive tested this output with another speaker and it's working perfectly. At the bottom of the Sonos app it used to say stereo pcm and now instead says spdif, not sure if this is relevant?

any help would be appreciated

 

Setup - goxlr amp > 3mm jack > converter to optical > ray

Like I said, works with other speakers so output isn't the issue

My Son uses the Sonos Ray at his home and has updated and says it’s working fine with his TV - he says he’s not noticed any change in the hardware. If you can’t resolve it, you maybe best to speak with Sonos customer support and supply them with a diagnostic report.
