Sonos Arc to my desktop

Hello, im currently trying to connect my SONOS ARC, not SL or Ultra to my desktop, not my monitor. I have tried everything but nothing seems to work. HMDI from soundbar to gpu with and without optical cable. No sound it coming out and i cant even seem to find the sound setting on the soundpanel. What can i do?

I missed the ONE sentence talking about how you might need to turn on the autoplay from the Sonos app and that actually fixed the issue! To anyone who might still be having trouble this part actually matter because i didnt even know i had it turned off.

Have you read this earlier thread started by Sonos Staff? It covers many of the issues when connecting Sonos speakers to a PC Desktop…

Hey! The Sonos Arc won’t connect directly to your PC’s GPU. Use an HDMI audio extractor with ARC support: GPU HDMI to extractor input, Arc HDMI to extractor ARC output. Set the extractor as the default playback device in Sound settings. Done!
