Apple Music is not iTunes, so trying to add Apple Music is not going to get you what you want. You need to add a local music library to Sonos. See this link:

I don’t think the Play:3 supports Airplay but your profile says you have a Beam. Airplay to the Beam and group the Play:3. Turn down the volume on the Beam if you only want the ’3 to be audible.

Apple Music is not iTunes, so trying to add Apple Music is not going to get you what you want. You need to add a local music library to Sonos. See this link:
