Hi everyone,

I built a home-screen widget for Android that lets you control your Sonos system without opening any app.

Features:
- Play / pause / skip and per-room volume, right from your home screen
- Up to 5 tappable favorites
- Spinning laser-disc animation of the album cover while playing
- Home-theatre / TV mode detection with a matching animation
- Grouping badge, mute, auto-detects when you switch Wi-Fi networks
- One-time $1.99, no subscription, no login, no ads

Google Play: [LINK REDACTED - search for “sonoswidget”]

Would love feedback and feature requests from the community.

Thanks!

Hello @eyal73, welcome to the Sonos Community!

I’ve removed the hyperlink as it is against the Community Code of Conduct but others can still find your work by searching the name in Google Play Store.

With my reply, your thread moved to the top of the latest activity list, maybe our Community users will have a look and provide feedback and features.

Thank you for sharing.

Leaving a like and marking Best Answer might make someone's day. Who knows, that someone might be you.

search for “sonoswidget” finds two apps from different authors in the Google Play Store: Sonos Widget from Freddroid AB and Sonos Widget Plus from ea4473.
Which one is this?

Another idea for a small improvement - could it be done in the widget so that when you click on the song being played, the menu of the playing content also opens? It only works when paused.... otherwise everything is ok....
