How you indeed connected the HDMI to the right appropriate port on the TV?
And have you selected ‘pass through’ audio in the Philips TV menu? (so disable the internal audio)?

I also have a Philips (935/12) and a BEAM (Gen2) and it works perfect.

Hope it helps to solve your connection ‘error’?

I found the problem is my ps4 which came into conflict with the beam and therefore did not come out of sound.

So I can't use my ps4 with the beam at the same time... it's very irritating.

I have a new problem from time to time the beam does not go out of sound for 10 to 30 seconds then resumes as if nothing had happened. Do you have this problem?
