I have an Amazon Fire TV Cube with a HDMI connection to a projector. I would like to connect my Playbar (which has an Optical Audio) but the Amazon Fire TV Cube does not have an Optical Audio connection.
So from the Fire TV I would like send the video to the projector and the audio to the Playbar. Is that possible?

There are dozens of switches available that can pass through HDMI, while pulling audio out on an optical path. Search Amazon, pick one you like and fits your needs. You don’t have to purchase from Amazon if you prefer not to, but it’s an easy place to do research.
