I seem to have done a lot of ‘updates’ recently but my Music Library still shows every track as an album under the ‘Albums’ selection.

Have I missed something recently in the app updates? It never did this but for the cataclysmic new app problems.

I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with your Music Library not showing your selection correctly. When adding your library to Sonos, it will index according to the metadata tags of your library. This sounds like the album tag metadata isn’t set correctly, possibly set up such as ‘album song name’ causing every track to become it’s own album (though without seeing the metadata, this is just my own assumption). If you check other selections, like Artist and Genre, does this populate correctly or are you seeing the same issue?

The community has recommended Mp3tag for looking through your libraries metadata. Try checking some files from your library to see if the metadata is in fact correct and the ‘album’ tag is set correctly.

If everything looks correct, please share some screenshots of your Music library in the Sonos app and the metadata of some files here on the community. I don’t use a music library myself, but having images can help the community and I look further into this and provide additional troubleshooting steps.

How do you account for this? The Media Player listing is for one ALBUMS whereas Sonos has a number of entries in ALBUMS
