Port and Company

I have a Port connected to my Preamp, which is connected to my Amp, a Sub, and 2 speakers. I also have a turntable w/a Turntable Preamp, and a CD player. I currently use the Port as a streamer for the  majority of listening. The sound is good, but lately I find I want to adjust the tone of the music, as previously my integrated amp did that. What component(s) should I consider (besides tube rolling on my Preamp) for adjusting tone? Should I add another DAC? An equalizer of some kind? Forget about the Port? Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Hi @Hopsngrains

Thanks for your post!

No extra equipment is needed! To adjust the Equaliser when listening to your turntable or CD player, please do so in the Sonos room in which you are playing. So, assuming you are playing to the Amp, you would select Settings icon » [room with Amp] » EQ » Bass/Treble. Having the player adjust the setting rather than the source, you (or someone else) could be playing the same source in a different room with it’s own EQ preferences.

I hope this helps.
