Any idea how I remove inactive speakers from app. Most normal companies have a delete button. Not sonos. They have to make it very difficult.

I shall assume provisionally that you want the Sonos Ones to act as surround speakers in each room.  Correct me if that isn’t so.

If the Playbar is working, then I suggest you:

  1. Factory reset the Sonos Ones intended for that room.  Do not reset the Playbar if it is working. https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/reset-your-sonos-product
  2. Add each of the two Sonos Ones to your system.  Call them FR Surround 1” and “FR Surround 2”.  (you could call them Donald and Kamala if you wished, but let’s go with something more meaningful}
  3. In your settings for the Family Room (Playbar) you need to “Add Surrounds”.  The Ones will be absorbed into the Family Room.
  4. In the Settings for Family Room, choose the FULL setting for music, not AMBIENT.

You may like to try to play some music in the Family Room and then post back on here.  But if that works, you just need to repeat for your Dining Room Beam, calling the Surrounds “DR Surround 1” etc.

To play music on everything, you need to group the Family Room and Dining Room, but we can deal with that once everything is working.

I hope that helps.

It isn't all that difficult. Unplug the speakers from power. Wait a couple of days.

I am curious to know why you gave 2 speakers the same name in the first place?

I’ve had a nightmare trying to set these up and got totally confused. Had to call customer services. Managed to set them up but can’t delete these from the app which makes it even more confusing. Why don’t they just have a delete button. Thanks for your help. Will they def disappear after two day of unplugging? Is there no other way?

If I want to delete everything and start a fresh, as if new, how do I do this? This is what I have been trying to do but it just shows as inactive. Do I delete my account and start again? Thanks.

I’d try to avoid starting again.  It shouldn’t be necessary.

Are your two soundbars working for TV Sound and music?

What other speakers do you have?

What is the desired end state?  Which speakers in what rooms?

Trying again after moderator intervention…

Try not to start again.  It should not be necessary.
