Live radio stations keep disappearing and stop - start every time there is an app update. Cannot connect to tuner and in Australia TuneIn costs $$ - has Sonos completely disabled live radio?

Hi @JLaus, welcome to the Sonos Community!

Sorry to hear you’re having trouble with Radio and support wasn’t able to resolve this for you.

I checked with a colleague and we’re able to use both TuneIn and myTuner Radio, though only UK stations as we’re in both in the UK, so I probably wouldn’t be able to test any stations from Australia.

When you say removing the service failed, do you mean that it gave an error when trying to remove it or that you removed and re-added it but still weren’t able to play live radio? If you haven’t, then I’d suggest trying with a different controller, such as another phone, tablet, or a computer, to see if that works.

Our support team have access to more tools that we do on the community, so I’d recommend reaching back out and continuing your case with them if what I suggest above doesn’t help.

Spent an hour on phone with customer support, removed restarted reset everything multiple times - this happened back in April/May when the first update happened and again yesterday. I have since had trouble even connecting to Spotify. I am so done with it not working!

Oh and when we tried removing the service it failed. Customer support didn’t know what to do about that!

Though TuneIn will steer you towards the account that is paid, it seems strange TuneIn would create an exception for Australia only. You could take another look at their website.
