I’m experiencing a new issue with Sonos Controller for Mac vs 16.3.1 (build 80155014) running on Mac OS Sonoma 14.6.1. I have a small home with one grouping: two stereo-paired Sonos Fives + Sub and five Sonos One SL speakers in various rooms. The five Sonos Ones intermittently cut out and go silent. The Sonos iPhone app says they’re continuing to play (the sound wave animation is showing next to the speaker’s name) but no sound is coming from the speaker. If I remove the speaker from the group and play a track that speaker, it works fine. If I add it back to the group repeatedly, it will continue to play—for a while. I’ve had this issue come up almost daily.
I’ve rebooted my router and it doesn’t correct the issue. This never happened prior to the release of the current Sonos Controller for Mac vs 16.3.1. Also, when I quit the Sonos controller and play music via the Music app on my Mac, the speakers all work reliably with no cutting out, so the root cause appears to b the current Sonos controller. Is this a known bug?
