Last night I lost half the speakers in my home Sonos system.
What I have:
Era 300
2 - Roams
Move
Beam
2 - Sonos One
1 - Sonos SL
SYMFONISK - Picture Frame
Subwoofer
Boost
What I lost:
2 - Sonos One
1 - Sonos SL
SYMFONISK - Picture Frame
1 - Roam
Boost
I did the factory reset to re add the speakers and it worked for a second and then disappeared. For some strange reason, they started to play music not from my list when I manually hit the play button on the speakers. This exact same thing happened at my girlfriend business sSnos system about a month ago. Eventually it fixed itself after a frustrating 2 weeks.
My question is will my system fix itself as well? I already spent 2 hours this morning trying to troubleshoot with all the tips on the website and tips I found on Reddit with no avail.
All these issues started happening after the launch of the revamped app. We had no issues for over 5 years until the app was updated.
Please help!!
