Searching for locally-stored music in new app

A very basic question.

I have all my music stored on my Mac in iTunes. I used to use the Search function in the old app to find albums and individual songs and play them through 2 x Sonos 1, a Sonos 3 (old school) and a Sonos Roam.

Now, it looks like this option has been taken away from me in the new app.

  1. Why?
  2. Will this functionality be restored in alter app updates?

  1. Dunno - all in the name of ‘progress’ apparently….
  2. The app update in mid-June will ‘apparently’ restore access to music in libraries

 

Thank goodness we don’t run our business like this….. 🙄
