I currently have a the large Gen 1 sub, a set sound bar, and a set of surrounds. I also have several bookshelf speaker though my home. I do have at least 1 Gen 3 product, the Era 100.

I am wanting to add a sub mini to my system to place in another room. I know that you can add a second sub to a home theatre set up. That is not my goal. I just want more bass in another area of my home when I play something on all of speakers.

Is this possible? Further more if I one day add another theater set up to my bedroom will I be all to the second sub for that?

The Sub Mini will need to be bonded to a speaker, but as long as it can receive data from the “master” it’s bonded to it could be located in a different physical space such as a different room.
Use Sonos’s home trial scheme if it’s available in your region. Buy it and try it. If it works, keep it; if not, return it.
