S2 App degraded after latest update (Android, Novemeber 2023)

Hi all,

Has anybody else experienced a Slow, laggy and poor refresh rates on the S2 app after the latest update (Android November 2023)? Note the app itself was updated a few weeks back but I had a system update today and the app itself was somehow effected.

A few examples of what I'm experiencing:

1) A laggy experience or lower refresh rate when scrolling through any tab

2) The My Sonos tab is refreshing the artwork every time I land on the page

3) Track listings disappearing when i go back to a playlist while scrolling

 

It's not unusable but pretty terrible. I'm using the Android app version 15.10 build 76246300 on my Samsung Z fold 5 running Android 5.1.1

OK so a simple restart of my phone did the trick! I guess I was a bit hasty and trigger happy to post here before restarting! Classic Sonos user :D

I'll mark it as resolved and keep it here for others to learn from my mistake.

Just got that one here and I’m not seeing any new issues but I haven’t used it a lot. A quick test:

Laggy, not that I notice.

Refreshing, I’m not seeing it re-fetching the artwork from the server but it isn’t updating the images that scroll on-screen instantly, maybe a second’s delay here.

Playlists seen to scroll fine here.

You might want to uninstall and reinstall the app.
