Roam and Roaming between access points on Eero mesh

Come on Sonos, get the moving between access points fixed on the Roam.  I dont think 11 months counts as a priority!

Eero being a mesh network, shouldn’t be a problem though.  It’s all the same subnet.  Never had any issues with an orbi mesh network.

Well Sonos support advised (case number 03861529) it is an known issue and advised me to reboot my roam if i go from front garden to back garden. and that a fix was coming. I then looked on forums and found it had been “coming” for 11 months.  Offered to do beta test if required!

So extremely disappointing that a long standing streaming audio brand cannot fix this.

 

Happily using a multi device S1 installation .This was my first experience with S2 only devices, I am not tempted to continue replacing older kit.
