Sonos app says Roam2 battery is depleted. I can not power up the Roam2

If the battery is depleted, it could take some time before charged enough to turn on. Are you letting it charge long enough? Here’s some info on charging the Roam: Charging Sonos Roam products

If the battery is depleted or has a very low charge, the orange light will stay on longer than 10 seconds until Roam has enough charge to turn on. This charging time will vary based on the power adapter Roam is using and how depleted the battery is. Once the battery light turns off, Roam may still require additional charging before it can be used on battery power.

Place it on charge for a while, using a suitably power matched charger.

Depending on the level of depletion batteries can take a while to achieve a state of charge that allows full operation.

Is it connected to a charger that meets the Sonos requiremements?

Does the status LED show it as charging?

My Roam took about 15 minutes from being out of electricity (essentially a depleted battery) to get enough juice via a USB-C charging connection to get enough power to show up in the controller. As suggested, the power of that charging brick makes a big difference, and some aren’t powerful enough to charge the device, you need to make sure the part you’re plugging in to the wall is powerful enough.

And a decent charging cable, an iffy one may not carry the needed power.
