Hey Sonos Community! 👋

As summer has officially kicked off, I'm already enjoying sunny days, long evenings, and, of course, the perfect soundtrack to go along with it all. I'm heading off on my summer vacation soon, and I'm starting to curate a summer playlist for the trip. But I realized, who better to ask for inspiration than this incredible community of music lovers?

Every summer has those defining songs – the ones that instantly gets you in the right mood for the summer. Whether it's a chill poolside vibe, an energetic track for a road trip, or something perfect for a backyard BBQ, I'm all ears.

So, I want to hear from you all what songs you got to share with us.
What are your absolute go-to summer anthems? Are there any new tracks you've discovered this year that just scream "summer" to you? Do you have different summer songs for different activities (e.g., relaxing, working out, entertaining), or do you have a classic summer hit that never gets old for you?

To kick things off, here is a Danish one that (even if you don’t understand the lyrics) has that nice summer sound to it.
Tobias Rahim & Andreas Odbjerg - STOR MAND

Let's build the ultimate Sonos Community Summer Playlist together! Share your favorites in the comments below, and tell us a little bit about why these songs make your summer complete. I can't wait to see what everyone's listening to!

Update: The Sonos Community Summer Playlists is now live on YouTube, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and Spotify!

Steal My Sunshine by Len.

It’s pure nostalgia for me, it reminds me of going to the beach with my brothers and friends as a kid and hearing this song on the radio, good memories, still f***ing love this song many years later.

Though, in retrospect, the name of the band seems somewhat unfortunate, this song embodies summer for me:

Hey @Mike R. H.

You’re (hopefully) already long gone and on your way to Norway.

Here's my summer song for the playlist.

Hi @Mike R. H.

Got a couple of Jamiroquai songs for you here:

Since it’s July now and the rain just set in again in Scotland, must go with something that reminds me of those sunny days in June - almost distant memories now ...
