Unable to add music folder to SONOS

I just installed a new Synology DS218 NAS but when I try to add the server I get the following message.  SONOS was unable to add the music folder.  Please check that the path to the folder and the user name and password are correct.  Reason.  There was a problem adding the new music in the shared folder "|MusicServer\Music" to SONOS.  There is no error code but there is a link to a help page to do with serverstacks but that seems to be a different issue. I can add a music folder from the PC with no problems.  Can anyone help please?  Thanks

You’ll need to look in to how to add SMB v1 to your Synology, Sonos currently requires it to access the data. There are many threads about this already, just search for SMB.
