Currently have an Era 100 on its own and looking to upgrade to a home cinema setup. I’m looking to buy a Sonos Ray and then a Sonos Era 100 SL. Can I use my current Era 100 and the soon to be bought Era 100 SL and pair them together as rears?

Yes, Era 100 & Era 100SL will work. They are bonded to the Ray as surrounds, not “paired”, like you would for a stereo pair.

+2Yes, that will work fine. The Era 100 and Era 100 SL use the same acoustic platform, so Sonos allows them to be paired together as surround speakers with a Ray. The only real difference is that the SL version removes the microphone/voice assistant features, which doesn’t affect surround performance.
