TV seldom switches on

Hi all

I have a very simple setup:

  • Samsung UE65JS9500L
  • Apple TV (Gen 4)
  • Sonos ARC

I typically only use the Apple TV remote to switch on and off my Apple TV and control it. I only use the Apple TV to watch things.

Now, seldomly my TV switches on when I turn on the Apple TV. But, my TV *always* turns off when I turn of the Apple TV.

So somewhere something is not correct. Any ideas?

That would be a question for Apple.  Unless you are using a voice assistant on the Arc, the CEC commands for turning on the TV will originate on the Apple TV.
