Question

TV Dialog Delay from Samsung TV via eARC to Sonos Arc Ultra

I have set all delays to zero on both TV and Sonos. I have set TV to Pass-Thru.  I don’t know what else to do to get rid of sound delay.

What source, do you have other sources you could try watching to see if all are delayed?

It can drive anyone crazy 😖

On my setup I watch/stream everything through my Apple TV.
(Apple TV 4K 2021-Ultra-Sub4-2xEra300-Samsung S90C)
SONOS settings are 0 on Samsung it's +40, nothing changed on ATV besides Atmos is turned on and Improve dialogue and minimize loud sounds are turned off.

I can sometimes experience a delay in the sound, but if I just close the App completely and open it again then it's gone.
Try removing all cables to your Samsung and turning off all devices (remove power to all devices by unplugging) leave everything for 5-10min and then restart it. Many times this simple trick fixes everything.

Tried the power disconnect to TV, Sonos Ultra Arc & Comcast Cable box…I have been through all the settings on the TV, Pass-Thru, all delays to zero, Video Noise Reduction Off….  I have a Samsung UN55TU7000FCZA and the Ultra Arc sound bar. Still have a visible delay in dialog….I notice it and it drives me nuts. Don’t have this issue with old Sony Surround Sound Amp.

Reply to Stanley,

tried Netflix from the Wi-Fi connected to my Samsung TV and had the same issue.

Play something to get the delay and submit a diagnostic to Sonos and call them to look at it.

They can see if it is internal to the Arc, not sure if they can help if it is the TV.
