I’m experiencing an issue with the touch control on my Arc Ultra soundbar. The microphone (voice control) button on the top panel is extremely unresponsive. Sometimes it works, but other times it only responds once every 10 or so attempts. I’ve confirmed that the microphone switch on the back is turned on, and the Sonos app settings appear normal.

Interestingly, it sometimes responds if I press a little harder than a normal touch, which suggests the touch sensor might not be working properly. I’ve already tried cleaning the surface, restarting the device, and changing fingers or touch pressure, but the issue persists.

Is this a known issue or a potential hardware fault?

If you have already installed the latest firmware updates, I would suggest giving Sonos support a call. Send a diagnostin when they ask so that they can determine whether it is in fact a hardware fault. They can suggest a course of action once they know what has happened to the controls.
