I have a Sonos Beam Gen1 + 2 Play Five Gen2 + Submini. When playing music using the Sonos App, the Submini has no sound; the diaphragm doesn't respond. Could someone please help me? Thank you.

Have you tried boosting the bass in the room’s EQ settings? And turned up the Sub Mini to  maximum in settings?

What is your music source?

Play by sonos  which source is QQ Music

I’m not familiar with that source. Is that a streaming service or via the tv?

I'm wondering if it's related to devices from different regions? For example, was the Sub Mini purchased from another region?(i not confirm that if the device from all the regions i had bought it)

Your first post said it doesn’t play with music. Does it play with a 5.1 tv signal?

It may be a regional thing - try using an Ethernet cable for the Sub Mini, in case the wifi signals between Beam and Sub Mini are incompatible.

@nik9669a Do you mean the beam and sub mini connect via their own Wi-Fi? I thought they connected through a router.

They use the router to connect for some things but that is too slow for a good audio connection and they generate a hidden 5gHz signal to quickly communicate.

Playing music through the Sonos App, at volume 25, the Sub Mini gain needed to be adjusted to 7 to produce vibration. I've now adjusted it to 15, which produces stronger bass.

If it needed that much increase, it may still be worth contacting Sonos support to check its working properly; increasing the gain to 7 just to get any sound seems a bit extreme.
