Hi there!

Just set up my gen2 Beam and a pair of Threes as rear speakers.

Then tried a youtube speaker test for 5.1.

When testing, the rear speakers BOTH have equal volume levels.

How can I fix this?

I also have a pair of Ones that I could exchange if this is a software issue, but I don’t think that’s the problem.

I would need the model number of your TV but please check to see if there is a 'Passthrough' option.

When you output the YT Audio, what format is displayed in the Sonos App Room view?

I tried to change the Stereo PCM, but nothing happens when I touch it.

Thanks, yes this is exactly what I wanted. 👍 What this is saying is that Sonos is only receiving a stereo signal and not a 5.1 signal.

Can you check the sound settings on your TV and source.

Do not use YouTube for test tones.  Nearly every video on a free YouTube account is converted to plain stereo when uploaded, regardless if they are labeled as Atmos or DD 5.1.

Thanks!
I’ve set the tv audio output to Dolby Digital Plus, and I’ve messed around with a number of settings to see what works. None do.
Any suggestions?
I got an LG tv.
