Hi All, I need some advice please. Room size is about 20sqm. Looking for a sub to pair with an Arc Ultra and was wondering if the mini would suffice for movies, tv and sports etc..?

I mean yes specifically if you don't have the volume very high (80% or more) and also is (without changing configs) more bass but if you touch and add more bass in the app the Sub (gen3/4) will get over the Mini but as (almost) all the price is the quality but take this as an advice, I will recommend you the Mini :)

If you just want a bit more low end the mini should do, actual room info would get you better answers though. Wide, long, high, open/closed plan, all would help.

Personally I'm happy with a full sized Subin a 10x10 foot room with an 8 foot ceiling, it isn't overpowering but the explosion and similar sounds reallycome through, good for music too if you listen to stuff with a lot of low end sound.

I do not own a Sub Mini, but the Arc Ultra already has more bass than the original Arc. This makes me doubt if the Mini would ad anything really extra.

@106rallye yes it does, if you touch a bit the settings there's a difference, also you the Arc Ultra will have more freedom for the bass and, the mids and highs will be better (a bit because the Arc Ultra standalone is incredible) :)

As always this is up to the ears and tastes of the user.
