Sonos Ray remote compatibility

I have an LG oled tv that comes with the RF magic remote and I’m thinking of buying the Sonos Ray.

Does the magic remote work with the Ray or do I need an adapter for them to be compatible?

Cheers

In fact, I looked it up for you. It is here:

I think the TV allows you to change that magic remote’ from RF to IR. Check the Sonos FAQs, there is one on how to do that.

Thanks for the info!

I haven’t received the Ray yet, but when I do , I’ll try that.

Weird… I called  Sonos customer service and the guy said the Ray is only compatible with infrared remotes. It sounds like it’s not directly compatible with the Ray, but will work depending on the settings and compatibility the TV has, if that makes sense

Given the huge amount of legacy IR stuff out there, I’d think all remotes have that capability. Hard for one to control open older Blu-ray player without it..or most cable boxes, too.
