I got a new Sonos Beam Shadow for my system.  The device is recognized by the app, but when I go to register the product and link it to my account, it says “there was a problem linking the beam to your system.”  Anyone else run into this issue?

 

It might help Sonos look in to the issue if you were to submit a system diagnostic and post the number here. 

I’ve never seen a case of this posted here before, so my guess is it’s some sort of local issue, but it’s hard to guess if it’s in your network, the Beam itself, or even at Sonos. 


I’m not sure what happened, but I was able to solve the problem on my own. I did a factory reset on the Beam and then added it to the system with all of my apps updated.
