Hi all,

I was curious if anyone had come across this issue, or a similar one, with the Sonos Beam (Gen 2) - Audio generating audio feedback? In this particular instance it occurred on the Thor (2011) blu-ray during Loki hammer scene, where Loki attempts to pick up Thor’s hammer.

This is the only instance I’ve had of this issue and I’m wondering if it’s possibly the blu-ray itself but before I pony up for a new one, I figured I’d ask here.

If it is repeatable get it to happen again and submit a diagnostic. Note the number (don't share it) and the disk information action and play-time the glitch happens.

With that in hand call Sonos support.

@Stanley_4 makes a good point. However here’s another option to try:

A way to test is to stream the movie in the same audio format with a service like AppleTV. If it occurs then there’s a slight possibility it may be the Beam. Then I would suggest lowering the volume to see if continues and/or running Trueplay (if possible) to see if that corrects the issue.

If the audio is without the feedback when streaming then it’s definitely the disc.
