Single ERA 300 as Surround Rear for Beam 2

Forum|alt.badge.img+1

Is it possible to have a single Era 300 speaker as a Surround Rear and simulate the left and right channels? Would be nice to have the option, especially considering the price and also space limitations ...

No, you need 2 Era 300s to add as surrounds.

No, that isn't a supported option for surrounds.

And how can I use 1 ERA 300 paired with a beam (gen2) ?

what´s the best option there?

You can’t.  Pairing (and bonding) require 2 of the same models to pair as stereo or bond with a soundbar as surrounds.  You can group it to play with the Beam, but that will not be surround (it will be playing the exact same channels as the Beam) and TV sources will be delayed, causing an echo.

Understood.

So I think I´ve grouped them, because they are like synched…

on tv, seems to be working fine, without echo… so strange… I have an hdmi receiver
