Hi all,

I own a Beam Gen 1 soundbar. I am planning to setup home theatre around it. I am confused about which speakers to use and whether they are compatible with gen 1 beam. I will setup in my living room of 24*20 feet.

Should I go with Sub mini+ 2 Era 100 or Sub + 2 Era 300 or Sub +2 Era 100? Are all of them compatible with Beam gen 1?

Thanks

As long as you are using the S2 app, the Sub Mini and Sub (Gen 3) can be used with the Beam.

The Era 100s can also be used as surrounds with the Beam, but the Era 300s cannot.

For a room that size, I would recommend adding the Sub and Era 100s.

We are happy with One SLs as surrounds with our Beam and Sonos has a few refrubished ones left at $159 each.

With the Beam I’d also consider the Sub-mini instead of the full Sub, if your room isn’t open-plan it should do the job.
