I added the second sub gen 3 to my existing setup of Arc, a pair of fives and an existing sub gen3.
the sub is shown in the app but says sub not registered.
I’ve tried resetting the sub, the modem, the app, everything.

Got my sub to connect with the redesigned app. Was having same issue. Account-App Preferences-Reset App. Close the app and reopen. Follow prompts for set up and it worked.
I had the same issue, Sub was not able to register. Account-App Preferences-Reset App. and Sub will register in your system.

I have the same problem. The app is no use. I also can connect my second pair of era 300s
