Samsung q60c + Sonos Arc + Apple tv 4k

Hello,

I am not getting Dolby Atmos if I play shows or movies through Apple tv 4k(I am only getting dolby digital 5.1). If I play them via TV app(like netflix or hbo max)it works just fine. Sonos app show atmos. Where could be the problem(also in apple tv i cannot select atmos anywhere) and i am running tvos 17.2. Tv model is Samsung q60c

Make sure the TV is set to these settings:

HDMI-eARC Mode: Auto

Digital Output Audio Format: Pass-Through

 

And set the Apple TV to these settings:

Audio Format settings:

Change Format: OFF

Dolby Atmos: ON

Apps > Music settings:

Dolby Atmos: Automatic

Audio Quality: Lossless

Yeah i tried that but here is the problem under audio format i dont have atmos option

That must be it, on the back of tv it only says ARC.

You might consider getting a different streaming device that doesn’t require eARC like a Roku Ultra, Nvidia Shield, or Fire TV Cube.
