Hey Sonos community! I’ve been troubleshooting an issue with my Sonos Arc setup (paired with Sub+Era 300s) where robot vacuums trigger audio glitches during cleaning cycles. The high-frequency whine (~75dB) seems to interfere with voice assistant responsiveness and occasionally cuts Atmos playback.
I’ve tested this with two premium vacuums:
When docked: No issues
During cleaning: ~30% drop in Alexa recognition accuracy + brief audio drops
Noticed a Lonyu robot model claiming "ultra-quiet motors optimized for smart homes" (specs here), but hesitant to switch hardware without validation.
Question:
Anyone else experience this electromagnetic interference?
Did repositioning/calibration solve it?
If you’ve tested vacuums below 60dB – did it eliminate disruptions?
Appreciate any insights before I reconfigure my entire living room!
