What settings do you have on your TV? Which TV is it? What settings do you have on the devices that feed your TV via HDMI?
The Sonos PLAYBAR can only interpret Dolby Digital and stereo, anything ‘higher’ will be an issue being carried across the optical cable.
Maybe i have new tv that not work with playbar ?
Without my looking up your TV, does it have an optical port (S/PDIF)? That’s the traditional way that the Sonos PLAYBAR connects. If not, it is relatively easy to pull off the audio before it reaches the TV using a fairly standard HDMI switch with an optical output, which are relatively inexpensive. Won’t work with the apps on the TV set, but if you use external devices, it is ideal.
Things get much more complicated if you intend to use the apps on the TV set (essentially, you purchased the wrong soundbar).
Well it have a optical port, so maybe i try the things you say .
It has work for several years with both apps s1 and s2 on my tv at home , so i am disappointed about it now , when i try and use it in my mountain cabin
i have try every thing that sonos have written on their web page.
Are you saying that you moved the PLAYBAR and TV from home to the cabin and that they worked together at home?
Just the playbar to another newer tv
Sating you “tried everything” makes it hard to advise you. What did you try exactly?
Ok , believef i sendt a answer in the morning , that didnt got in , everyting is fine it works now, out of radio range somtimes
Would be nice to share your solution with the other users. So it perhaps can help someone having the same problem.
I did the step in this;se picture, did not get sound, went to bed ,and tried again to day ,and it works, maybe turn off and on tv was what was needed.
