Pocket Casts doesn't save place in podcast anymore

Since the recent update, Pocket Casts doesn't save where I was in podcasts anymore. It does remember which ones I haven't finished, but I have to search and listen where I paused manually now. Does anyone have a solution for this?

I noticed this a few months ago.

Sonos refuses to acknowledge this or work on it.
