pcm multichannel 5.1 dolby instead of dolby atmos

I just bought the arc kit with sub gen 3 one sl x2 and the arc sound bar.

Im actually watching Guardian of galaxy 2 on disney+ that is in dolby atmos.

The thing is that on my sonos app its saying Pcm multichannel dolby 5.1.

I have a Qled samsung Q60 70 inchs 2021.

Its compatible dolby atmos and earc.

So y is it in pcm multichannel 5.1 dolby???

Wich one is better between with dolby digital plus 5,1 or p m multichannel dolby 5,1?

When streaming, you want to see “Dolby Digital Plus 5.1” or “Dolby Atmos”. When gaming on the PS5, you want to see “Multichannel PCM 5.1”.

Tomorrow war is atmos. Transiter wasnt choosen.

So disney plus isnt atmos. Or compatible.

The sound is amazing.

Just doll that disney and netflix arent compatible.

 

My tv is brand new...

Its samsung that isnt compatible with sonos or app disney and netflix ???

Do you have a premium Netflix account? Did you play the original (English) language audio track?

In french its either pcm multichannel dolby 5.1  and if i deactivate my hdmi-eARC mode its transfering to dolby digital plus 5.1

It’s a Samsung issue, not Sonos.

Dolby Digital Plus is better.

What audio format do you get with the English language audio track? FYI… the Dolby Atmos track is always on the original language audio track only.

Eith another brand like sony will the movie get to atmos in french to or will it stay in pcm 5,1 dolby ?

You MUST have a premium Netflix subscription to get Dolby Atmos audio. The Dolby Atmos audio track is almost always on the ORIGINAL language audio track only. TV brand will not make any difference.
