Hello,I have a TV model LG-55LA620V, Google TV Streamer and Sonos Arc Soundbar with 2x Sonos Play:1(surround) added. The problem is that I can't get Dolby Atmos sound to work, only dolby digital 5.1. The cables are HDMI 2.1 and connected as follows: - Google TV streamer -> Tv HDMI 3 (MHL) - TV HDMI 1 (ARC) - Sonos Arc soundbar. What should I do to get Dolby Atmos sound?
The LG-55LA620V was first released in 2013, which pre-dates Atmos support. Atmos support for HDMI-ARC didn’t show up until around 2018.
You should also be aware that the Play 1 does not support Dolby Atmos.
Since your TV is the limiting factor here, buy a new TV or look at a device that takes the TV out of the equation, like the HD Fury Arcana, the Feintech VAX04101k, or the OREI HDA-935.

Thx! that is true, after googling this, now I know the difference between HDMI ARC and HDMI eARC. Even the passthrough is not possible.
I need to buy a new TV.
For Atmos eARC isn’t always necessary, Most content services use a (compressed) DD+ stream with Atmos, that can be sent via ARC. You’d only need eARC for uncompressed streams, from a BD-player or Apple TV for example.
This will not help you because Atmos wasn’t around on TV’s when is was made.
