Hello,I own a Sony 65XH9077 running Android TV, that’s hooked up to Sonos Arc.I have the strangest issue where I can never switch back to TV’s built in speakers, while the Arc is connected. If I change the output to TV, playback stops (e.g. Netflix, HBO Go, etc.), and the output gets switched back to the Sonos Arc after a couple of seconds.Any ideas how to fix this please? My current only solution is to phisically disocnnect the Arc or unplug it from mains. Why woudl I want to not use the Arc? That’s a different “issue” I’m kind of facing. The Arc, at the lowest volume (which on TV shows as 2, even though on TV speakers output I get increments of 1’s, with the Arc I get incremetns of 2), it’s still too loud to use durring the night. One solution was to use volume limiting in the S2 app for the Arc, but that’s just like trowing away half of it :)
Merci d’avance…
I read most of the posts on this topic but still a little unclear on the Sonos Components required. Currently have regular Paradigm in Ceiling Speakers ( for Rears), a Paradigm Powered Subwoofer. and a newer Sony TV. Mostly stream and use a media server to watch TV and movies. Also have an older Sonos Playbar. In order to use my existing components I assume all I need is to buy a Sonos amp, connect my TV (via HDMI), plug into the sub port and connect my rears all to the AMP. Would this be correct and would it work and will the Sonos be able to “tune” the room? Of course the Soundbar would be my Fronts and Center (for now) and can I assume nothing needed to plug into the soundbar other than power?. Any assistance appreciated. Thanks, John

I use Sonos Beam as soundbar for samsung smart TV. I also listen to music services via wifi. All (wifi) channels work fine, but TV audio has stopped functioning even though the TV icon shows up on my phone app just as it always has. All attempts to reconnect with TV have failed. Again, only wifi works. Direct hdmi connection between TV and Beam does not. Message says “hdmi arc not connected.” Ideas or suggestions appreciated. Just know I am not a sophisticated technician when you reply. Thanks.
I’ve just purchased an Arc and 2 One SLs to connect to my new Sony Bravia XR55A90J TV. When using the tv as the source, I only get sound from the Arc. I can’t discern any sound from the Ones. When I play music via Airplay from my iPhone though, the One SLs play too and I get great surround sound. The Arc is connected to the tv via the HDMI eARC port and via Ethernet to Wi-Fi. The Ones show as connected in the Sonos app.I’ve used Trueplay a number of times and have disconnected and reconnected the Ones but nothing changes.
Hi all, First post here, so please go easy on me! Have had a Beam and Sub setup for around 7 months now and it’s been fantastic. Turned on the TV this morning and the Beam is working but the Sub is not. Checked the app and the Sub is showing in the app and I have a white light on the front. I have tried disconnecting power and reconnecting and this hasn’t helped. Diagnostic report number 1546425422. Any help would be much appreciated!
I am about to wall mount my Sonos Arc using the Sonos wall mount. My electrician has layed a conduit channel within the wall for cables (power, HDMI and ethernet). However, for my preferred position of the TV and Arc, this conduit channel lies to the right of centre when looking at the arc from the front (approx 150mm from the right edge of the Arc). If the cables are brought out of the wall at this point, will it still be possible to connect them to the Arc at the insertion points further along the Arc, whilst using the wall mount, or will the cables get in the way or be visible? Cheers

I am losing the will to live now as I have tried various recommended audio extractor boxes and am still having a audio delay through my speaker system. I am trying to use a projector with my Sonos system but my audio is way behind and cant seem to find anything to sort this issue.I did have a little success with connecting my amp to a sky multi box (through the ARC HDMI) however this isn't very practical but at least it worked. I am really hoping someone can help as after spending a considerable amount on the amp plus ceiling speakers I would love to get a solution.
Surround as in title won’t update. Running S2. Have rebooted both router and devices several times. Surround no longer working. Cannot remove surround since it needs an update. Update goes through “Getting ready” then jumps to “Finishing up” then to update failed.Any advice?
If anyone has any idea what’s going on, I’d appreciate some info. I’ve had this setup for about a year, and last week things just went downhill. My main issue is that my system was working perfectly until last week. I’ve always used my LG magic remote to work everything, and it’s been great. Then suddenly it didn’t work. Details below. Sonos Arc+Sub+One SL (2)LG TV - OLED77CXAUALG Magic Remote - LG MR20GA App - Keeps defaulting to music played, then have to switch it in the app to TV to get sound, didn’t happen prior to 3-3-22. Is turn on the tv, it would play sound whatever I selected.App - Keeps saying TV isn’t connected to eArc, when it is, cables have been swapped, replaced, unplugged and plugged back in, system has been reset, and rebooted multiple times, didn’t happen prior to 3-3-22. I turned auto play on, and for tonight it seems to have worked.App - Spotify streaming through Sonos app, both remotes work, have to angle them high up from a distance, white light syncs with v
Hi. I had my Sonos Beam and 2 Ones set up as rears for 5.1. All devices were on wifi. Worked flawlessly for months. Then started getting random crackle on one rear speaker usually on bass noise but was intermittent and could not always be reproduced when playing the same source. Sent diagnostics to support and they I had wifi interference and suggested connecting the Beam directly to the router and then the Ones would connect to the Beams own network. I’ve done this but the rear Ones are still connecting to home router wifi and not the Beams Sonosnet. Can I force them to connect? In the system info, rears show as WM3 which I think means aren’t connected to the Beam. Any suggestions please? Thanks.
Hello, I have tried all possible troubleshooting, but I have just updated my Sonos ecosystem to version 11.4 and now 3 of my units keep disappearing. i have managed to have the 3 back online, but they just disappeared again. I have never experienced it before, but just after updating units, it started to happen.it seems that after power down power up the router, solves temporarily. But I do have 2 units wired to the router and WM shows 0Please, I really need support
Did anyone had totally dismal experience while trying to return the Sonos Product. I bought Arc and Sub. Immediately after getting them, I have been trying to return them but in vain. No response on chat, email. Phone wait is pathetic. One day it said 115 min. Today it said 25 mins, but am holding line from 40 mins. Is someone at Sonos listening? Why are you claiming 45 days return policy if none exists? If someone has been successful in returning or working it out with Sonos, please provide guidance. Emails and chat have not helped so far. Online I am not able to generate RMA - it says product not eligible for return policy. I don’t understand why it says that, as its bought just a week back.any help or guidance is appreciated.
So we know the side speakers of the Arc fire either front channels or surround channels depending on which rear speaker it is paired with. It would be nice if we can have the option to set how the side firing Arc speaker function regardless of the paired rear speaker. For example, 300 users may want to hear more front channel instead of surround with their Arc or viceversa for 100/One/Five users. I understand this unique behavior of the Arc and 300 is to create a “bubble” but having that option so users can toggle what works best for their ears and home would be a nice to have. What are your thoughts? This, along with option for front hiring on 300 and official support for reverse mounting is on my Christmas wishlist. For now I can only wish.
Hi, I have an Intergra DRX-5.2 (works with sonos) with a sonos connect attached to the CD input. There is also several other speakers in the sonos system. I’ve had the same sound setup for three years now. One Playbase, one Sub(gen2) and two Ones(gen1) for surround. A few days ago I suddenly discovered that the surrounds and the sub no longer works with tv or music. They are connected to each other in the app (S1). But wont start playing anything. I’ve tried a lot of different scenarios from what I’ve read about in this forum and elsewhere. A few things i’ve tried:Reset the sub, and the two ones and add them again. But they still won’t work. Reset the whole setup with the Playbase, surrounds and sub to set ut up again, but it didn’t work. Reboot the router and all speakers and that didn’t solve the problem either.I can control them all in the app like for e.g. turn off status lights but I can’t control the sound at all. It’s like they’re all connected but just not sounding.Anyone who’s experienced the same issue?
