Hi! I just received my Immersive Set with Ray and Sub mini - it’s two Era 100 speakers, sub mini and a ray bar.  I can’t get them to be recognized to be added to the same room and now I am beyond frustrated. The error continues to be that no other speakers are found.  I can add them to different room labels… what am I doing wrong? How do I start over?

Do you perhaps have the Era 100s stereo paired? If so, you need to unpair them first. If they are not paired however, then it might be a case that your router is not allowing the Ray to ‘proxy’ the Era/Sub network IP addresses. A solution to ‘possibly’ resolve that, is to cable the Ray to the local router (if practical).

The issue mentioned though, can occur for other reasons too, such as when the Controller device and/or speakers are using different wireless access points on the network and some of those access points are unsupported wireless extenders. A quick solution for that of course is to do away with the extenders and replace them with a mesh WiFi system, or just use a central-based router only.

And finally, the issue mentioned can arise aswell, if the mobile controller device is being partially blocked by security software, such as a VPN client or Firewall App etc. so simply disable those.

Anyhow, I hope those things give you some further things to try to resolve your HT setup issue.

Dont worry, having all as separate rooms to start is the correct step.  You now need to add the 100s as surrounds:

then add the Sub to the resulting room (if it's not there already).
