Controlling Sonos Ray with virgin media 360 remote

I just bought a sonos ray. It is connected to my TV via optical connector. The only thing that is rather annoying is the fact that I cannot find a way to control the volume with my vigin media 360 remote. When I try to set it up I get to the audio setup option with Sonos as a provider listed there, I get two options to choose from but neither works. When entering the sonos model number “RAYG” it does not find it either.  So now I am stuck.

 

Does anybody have a solution for my problem?

You seem to be configuring it from the TV - don’t do that. Instead teach the Ray the signal your remote sends, via the Sonos app. (Assuming your remote sends IR of course).
